Dennis Beavers-Author

This blog post is to share some exciting news about my friend Dennis Beavers’s first book “Voices of the Platte and Pawnee”.

I have known Dennis for a few years now. We met and are both regulars at the Wilson Public Library writing group The Writers Society in Cozad, NE. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6-7PM if you want to join us in the fun! Over the years this book has been Dennis’s focus at our writing group.

Writing a book is not a small endeavor. This book has been 25 years in the making and has finally came to fruition for Dennis in 2025.

The book is a work of historical fiction set in the late 1800’s to 1920’s in Dawson County, Nebraska.
